Hi! I am Vanshika JaiN
Hailing from New Delhi, India, I discovered my passion for art at an early age and grew up as a self-taught artist exploring and experimenting with the various media that was available. Through ways of life, I found photography as a medium to convey emotions, and adopted the practice as a means of not just capturing moments but also creating them.
“You don't take a photograph, you make it”
As a fine art and portrait photographer who earned her B.FA in Photography from Savannah College of Art and Design, USA, I capture the intimate connection between the internal and the external world and create photographs with the hope to illuminate the universal truths that bind us all together through the transcending differences of cultures, backgrounds, and experiences. With digital and film photography as my media, I embrace the freedom to experiment with light, color, and composition, pushing the boundaries of traditional portraiture to create images that are at once timeless yet contemporary. Through careful post-processing techniques, I enhance the visual impact of my photographs, imbuing them with a sense of magic and wonder that allows viewers to lose themselves in the moment. My inspiration is drawn from the rich tapestry of human existence and the subtle nuances of expressions which aims to evoke a sense of empathy. Through the power of photography as a tool for storytelling and self-expression, my goal is to not merely document the world around me, but to engage with it on a deeper level. Whether capturing the quiet dignity of an elderly artisan or the infectious joy of a child at play, I strive to celebrate the inherent beauty of every individual and welcome my audience to embark with me on a journey of discovery where every photograph is a window into the heart and soul of the human collective.
